"So what? Do you think us workers would have been better represented by no one or by someone who considers us just a resource? We took what we had at hand at the moment and did the best of it, now you let us out or we will get out. We have no intention of killing the Diplomat, even if he would sacrifice us in a heartbeat to save his own life, but if you do not let us out and use force you will not only take our lives, but his as well."

The Iridar ship continues towards the Patrol Ship at full speed with no sign of slowing down. When ramming is unavoidable they will open fire at the Rhenanian ship.

The patrol boat holds position. It seems there will be a collision.

The Iridar vessel tries to hit the top of the angled enemy ship to push it out of the way, opening fire seconds before they hit (unless Rhenanians fire before)

The two ships collide with a hideous crunch of metal. The Iridar boat, being larger, is not fully stopped, but certainly loses a great deal of speed, while the Rhenanian patrol boat is sent spinning, heavily damaged.

When fire is opened by the Iridar ship, it is immediately returned by the guardsmen on the mainland -- who target anyone abovedeck. The several patrol boats who have at this point reached the outside of the harbor open fire as well, aiming to cripple its gun.

The Rhenanian fire quickly hits and kills the man firing the lone machine gun on the ship. Several of the men carrying rifles are hit as anyone able to tries to duck for cover. The Ship continues at the best speed it can handle away from the port, taking fire from Rhenanian patroll boats.

With the incapacitation of the machine gun, the patrol boats stop firing and instead attempt to muscle the ship back to shore with their superior speed and numbers. At the docks, the sailors onboard the first boat, which is slowly sinking, are returned to shore.

The Erkettuni diplomat easily lets himself be disarmed.

Thrown off and seeing the person he is supposed to protect with his life as ordered by the Erkettuni king apprehended and kept at gunpoint, after a few seconds of backing off the aide pulls his own pistol and shoots at the three guards, aiming for the head, in order of perceived threat.

"Pity, the food was pretty good.", he thinks as he pulls the trigger.

When the aide pulls out a gun, he perhaps does not consider that he is in the same room as a dozen armed soldiers, some along the walls and some literally right next to him, all on high alert and with their rifles already drawn. When the pistol exits its holster, the man is shot dead.

As the Iridar ship is being pushed to the shore the crew withdraws into the ship and prepares for getting boarded. All rifles onboard are brought out and the crew prepares for a valiant defense.

As the Iridar ship is immobilized against the shore, civil beachgoers flee the waters. In their place, city police mixed with palace guardsmen begin to appear. One particularly bold guard captain, after some discussion with his inferiors, places his weapon deliberately onto the rocky beach and begins to tread, hands raised in a gesture of non-threat, towards the boat. When he is knee-deep in the water, he calls out. "Drop your weapons, come out onto the beach, and free the diplomat. We'll send you back to Iridar, and that will be the end of that."

After a short time  a small window opens on the side of the grounded ship as a man warily sticks his head out:
"We will give you the diplomat if you allow us to leave. We will not surrender our weapons or our ship but we would allow you to escort us there if you do not trust us. You have shown us very little reason to trust you so far."

Wincing as the aide is shot and having seen enough gunfire for one meeting, Fertev just pops open the bottle of Lutitskiy made vodka and pours a glass for himself.
Get ****, kid

"Your ship is damaged and grounded -- you aren't in the position to negotiate. Considering that you fired on Rhenanian soldiers, this is very generous."

Lady Aetia and her squire enter the palace and proceed to the dining room, only to see a man of Erkettuni origin fall to the floor after a gunshot was fired at his direction. The Squire hid behind the other side of the door, before Aetia grabbed her by the collar into the room.
"Good evening gentlemen, why is there an Erkettuni man dead on the floor with a bullet wound in him?" She said almost nonchalantly, moving to her assigned seat at the table, next to the Rhenanian seat.

"You say so but without doubt you will arrest and torture us instead! We can throw our weapons overboard with the diplomat as long as we do not need to give up our ship."
