The Erkettuni diplomat takes a seat and starts conversing with a person nearby about economic policy while drinking excessively

"Then I am afraid you will let us leave, insulting Iridar or forcefully take him from us and insult us even more. There are no other options" As William says this he shouts orders to the crew to prepare to leave and man all stations.

An old decommissioned Frigate, painted burgundy with golden trim and flying the Holy Cross of Celestinia pulled into harbor. As the gangplank was unfettered, a tall, battle-scarred woman with nearly pure white hair that went just to her neck in an even cut, emerged from the ship's deck. Despite her hair, she looked to be in her thirties. She was dressed in formal military wear, with the suit colored burgundy with a gold trim around the buttons, shoulders, down the sleeves and at the cuffs, her chest decorated with several awards, most of which diplomacy and aviation related, as well as a gold plate with her name, "Lady Aetia Vangaria".

She walked down the pier, waving her guard to stay on the ship, but bringing forth a young girl who couldn't be older than 17 who was holding a heavy bag of antiques and jewelery, obviously similar to a squire. Lady Aetia greeted the event staff at the docks, being waived into a private car for a drive to the Lake where the dinner would be held. Aetia and her Squire arrived at the Palace, and awaited greeting at the front door.

"No other options? Very well, then. In the name of the Duke I proclaim you mutineers." Several of the guards draw their rifles and point them at the ship, while others grab up anchoring ropes and try to stop the ship from leaving. With a hand signal from the speaking guard, who now appears to have been the one in charge, a patrol boat further down the quay launches to cut off the Iridar boat should it escape the dock.

Fertev took the seat assigned to him and began debating whether it was a good idea or not to indulge in some alcohol.

A Lorvasan ship has pulled into the port, carefully following the directives of the Port Authority. No more than a meter out of position at any time as they were guided into their slip, run with the cold precision that the Lorvasan Internal Securities Forces would have expected out of any foreign visitor. The vessel, the ILCS Gambit, bore the flags of Lorvasa, the Duchy of La Salle, the pennant of Princess Maria Ral'Zarin, and the Diplomatic White Flag of Truce. An unarmed merchant ship, it's only military presence was the trained Maritime Defense Forces crew manning the ship, and 20 members of the Royal Guard.

When the ship docked, Princess Maria Ral'Zarin was the first one down the gangway, with two members of the Royal Guard, in full dress blues and ceremonial arms and armor trailing behind her. The Princess herself wore the dress uniform of the Maritime Defense Force, with the ceremonial axe of her station on her hip. The crisp uniform giving her a striking sense of authority as they prepared for the trip to the summit.

In response the crew of the ship starts releasing and cutting the ropes holding it in place, and puts the ship in full power to break free. Several crewmen will point their own rifles at the Rhenanian guards, and return fire if they start shooting. William Archer will return to his duty as Lieutenant Commander and captain the ship.

William Archer will try to use the incoming Lorvasan ship as cover, trying to put it between him and the Rhenanian ship.

As the commotion occurs outside, a visibly drunk Rakia stumbles towards the North Ryudinian representative Grigori Alexiov, making various exclamation about how "communism caused this!" and "YOUR DAMN COMMIES' FAULT!", not to mention various expletives regarding North Ryudinian leadership. He says something about his "poor North Ryudinian cousin" then pulls a small, low-calibre, intricately engraved semi-automatic pistol and tries to shoot Grigori at a distance of about 5 meters. He only fires one shot before he is tackled by his aide.

OOC: I will let mods roll a dice of RNGesus to decide if the Speaker actually gets shot.

Flinching as the bullet flies past him and embeds itself in a nearby wall, Alexiov moves back from the Erkuttuni representative.

"See how the fascist resorts to violence! Guards, do your jobs and apprehend this man!"

The Duke is about to make some remarks towards the new arrivals when a shot rings out. The bullet misses, lodging itself in the wall on the opposite side of the room. Immediately, the palace guards along the wall spring into action, rushing to the table and pulling the man's aide off of him. Three guards point their rifles at the man from point-blank range, one of whom places a boot on his back, while another efforts to kick the man's gun away.

"In the name of the Duke, I charge you with attempted murder on Rhenanian soil," the man with his boot on Rakia's back says gravely.

The loops holding the ropes in place to the dock break off once the Iridar ship reaches full engine power. The guard captain cups his hands around his mouth to shout at the boat. "Surrender! You'll never make it to the sea!" The patrol boat, rather than chasing directly after the Iridar ship, parks itself at the gap in the quay that ships pass through to enter the docks. To either side, at the city shipyards, more patrol boats are speeding towards the commotion at the palace.

Ducking when he heard the shot, Fertev sighs when he notices it missed. It's gonna be one of those meetings he mused, now tempted even more to just drink some of the vodka he brought as a "gift".

A crewman will stop and reply:
"What? Surrender and be shot!? You already threatened us with weapons fire when we tried to leave. Do not believe that Iridar will forget this! For Iridar and her Workers!"
The Ship will continue full speed towards the Patrol boat blocking the exit, several crewmen with rifles ready to fire at anyone who fires at them and the single small mounted machine gun ready to fire at the Patrol Boat.
(The ship is the size of an old small WW1 Sloop, being armoured but not armed apart from like a single small machine-gun)

An hour later the Lorvasan envoy party was ready. Mounted on the sleek Lorvasan Chargers of the Royal guard, in full ceremonial dress uniform, the Royal Guardsmen of Lorvasa, and Princess Maria Ral'Zarin made their way through the city. They made a long, parade tour, flying the Lorvasan flag high from the lance of the color guard, the trumpetteer announcing their presence to the locals as they made their way to the palace. A few peasants pulling hand carts behind the Royal Envoy was handing out small trinkets from Lorvasa to any curious onlookers who gathered to see what the commotion was.

Small bits of Lorvasan wood carving art, decorations proclaiming the peace and friendship of the Principality of Lorvasa, carved toy models of Lorvasan Royal Guards, and similar such little doodads of good will.

By the time they had gotten to the palace, all but the largest gift had been handed out to the citizens of Rhenania. There two members of the Royal Guard dismounted, helping Princess Maria Ral'Zarin down from her mount with grace. The Princess strode out towards the Palace Guard.

"Lorvasan Envoy, Princess Ral'Zarin," she announced herself in clipped militant tones. The Princess, one of the possible heirs of Lorvasa, one of the fourth most powerful figures in the country, they clearly didn't send just some random middle manager diplomat to this function. She was a hard woman in bearing, standing with military precision, looking quite comfortable with the weight of her uniform and the ceremonial Lorvasan Axe on her hip. Black hair with a wide, white patch on her right side cut in a military fashion, with dark green eyes that looked as hard as jade, and pale skin who's porcelain perfection was marred by laceration scarring on the right side of her face, visible from the collar of her uniform up to her hairline. A wound she had suffered from a Ryudinian Tank in the Battle of Jantzen.

(Waiting for stelar to continue the stuff indoors.)

At the apparent ram, the patrol boat turns itself at an angle to the impact, with the goal of taking a hit but deflecting the Iridar ship into hitting the concrete quay. The men onboard brace themselves, while more guardsmen with rifles gather on the docks and more patrol boats gather around. "We don't want harm!" the captain shouts. "Stop, or we will shoot!"

The Iridar Ship does not respond but tries its best to meet the Patrol Boat at an angle opposite to the angle it is turning towards (trying to counteract their angling to hit it at a right angle or to slip trough). The men are now all focusing on the Patrol Boat to fire as soon as any Rhenanian gives fire.

Suddenly a man screams "Let us out and nobody will be hurt!"
