"Welcome to the first broadcast of the Ryudinian Broadcasting Corporation to take place after the topping of Fyodor II and the National Salvation Council. We've got a lot of news to share with you now that the war is over, so make sure to stay tuned in. Our first story of tonight is to clarify the details of what happened in the capital city for those of you who are out of the loop.
According to the official report released by the Provisional Government, upon hearing news that nearly all of the military loyal to the National Salvation Council had left the country during their attack on the Socialist Republic of Ryudinia, Princess Sofiya Voronina returned to the country inconspicuously and met up with the pro-monarchist soldiers of the 4th Imperial Corps. The Princess and the 4th Imperial Corps then moved on Zverskograd facing small resistance from Makisov loyalists, but ultimately capturing the city and arresting the leading members of the National Salvation Council and their collaborators. Soon afterwards, soldiers from the joint Celestian-SRR alliance landed in Zverskograd and two of their diplomats met with Princess Sofiya. After several tense hours of negotiating, the details were hammered out and the Treaty of Zverskograd signed.
In adherence to the Treaty, Sofiya formally dissolved the Empire of Ryudinia, recognized the independence of the Socialist Republic of Ryudinia, agreed to pay war reparations and extradite the commanding officers of the National Salvation Council, barring Generalissimo Makisov, for trial by the SRR and Celestinia, and ceded Rodnatsia to the Celestinians. Although this may anger many of you, there is no need to worry, as we have been assured by the Celestinians that all practitioners of Semuyism shall have free access to the Holy City. The final piece of the Treaty is for a referendum to be held upon the governance of the new state of Zverskograd by the start of the year 1922. In the referendum, you, the Ryudinian people of Zverskograd, shall vote on whether to retain the old system of government and crown Sofiya as the Queen of Zverskograd, to establish a constitutional monarchy where the Voronin Dynasty retains a ceremonial role, or to abolish the monarchy completely and establish a republic upon the Ryudinian continent. The date of the referendum has not been officially announced, however we have been told it shall take place sometime towards the middle of the year.
Our other two stories we have to share with you concerning the Voronin Dynasty as well as the trial of Fyodor II and Vitaly Makisov. Contrary to what the National Salvation Council had been telling all of you, the immediate family of Emperor Serafim IV—barring Princess Sofiya—was not in fact spared by Makisov and his supporters. Several weeks ago, the remains of Empress Ekaterina, Princess Anna, Princess Lidiya, and Prince Nikolai were discovered in an unmarked grave several kilometers outside of Prolivska. Princess Sofiya has announced that a state funeral shall be held for her parents and siblings and their remains shall be reinterred within the Voronin Family Mausoleum. During this announcement, Sofiya also proclaimed that Fyodor and Makisov shall be tried within Zverskograd for high treason, as well as Makisov being charged with committing atrocities against the Lorvasan people during his time as commander of the the 5th Imperial Corps.
And that's all we have to share with you tonight. May Zversky and Tochna's blessings be upon you all!"
