Suggestions / Variable Yield

Just a simple addition to the nuke system; as nearly all warheads now are variable yield and it was invented in the 1950s, in order to get variable yield, you add 10% to the cost of the highest yield per 500KT (if lower than 500, still use 10%)

For example:
I want a warhead that varies from 500KT to 10KT, so I take the cost of the 500KT warhead (which costs 50PP and add 10% to the cost, so it'd cost 55PP

However, say I want a warhead that goes from 5MT-10KT, this would cost signifigantly more (100% more) and as a result would cost 140PP (100% more than the standard 5MT yield, 70PP)

Leave suggestions below.

History: The southern nation of United Strovalkia was formed in the winter of 1852 after the decision by the northern kingdom of Strova to integrate its southern vassal states into a single nation. The vassal states themselves were formed after Strova invaded and reformed multiple surrounding kingdoms, forcing peace and a new political system onto them. After 4 long months of debating, it was finally agreed between the kingdoms to form the new nation, naming it United Strovalkia. The new nation enjoyed a prosperous economy built on trading various goods with its western neighbours. In the spring of 1906, the country began to form ties with a large kingdom to the west, Vosmuossau. After negotiations, it was decided that a volunteer division of troops would be sent to Vosmuossau in order to assist in the unification of the western nations. In 1917, after years of war in the west, the United Kingdom of Frecoslavia was formed from the ashes. The two nations enjoyed strong diplomatic ties and a prosperous trade economy, agreeing to protect each other should the time come. From 1917 onwards, United Strovalkia has been undertaking various military reforms including the joint development of new armoured units, equipment and tactics with the United Kingdom of Frecoslavia in response to rising tensions around the globe. With most of its population concentrated on the coastal cities, the nation must ensure that it is well defended, or perish.

Changes have been made. To summarise:

Maintenance for all units has been quartered. Your armies can now be four times as large for the same cost. Go wild.
PP costs for all units have been eighthed, so you can build a lot of units very fast now.
The PP maintenance cost has been halved to compensate for the fact that you now have four times as many units, but this also means that you're effectively going to be losing twice as much PP as you were before.

Light Cruisers and Heavy Cruisers have been merged into a single Cruiser unit in the Capital Ships section.
Ranges for all ships have been halved. This brings their ranges into a much more realistic range.
MNV for ships has been standardised, so all warships now have 4 MNV and all capital ships now have 2 MNV. This fixes the issue where patrol boat/frigate spam would kill everything before the opponent could react.

All basic AA upgrades that had Modern Military Arms as a prerequisite now have no prerequisite. AA is now available from the start to a whole range of units. Infantry still need missiles to get their AA.

Fortifications have had the cost of their upgrades reduced to 0.5 MP from 1 MP. This makes them pretty "meh" tier units, but they're also cheap as **** which makes them good for defending bases and cities.


Everybody has until 21/05/17 00:00 UTC to spawn in a new army for free. Maintenance will not apply for these units until this time.
If you miss that deadline then you have to pay for your new army. Also, as of right now, all your current armies are disbanded.

With the first Congress of Unions over and the new government form established small scale elections have been running all over the country with the local Workers' Councils. Following the formation of the Congress of Councils many important positions have been voted on:

Council Chairman: Kilborg Strom
Marshal: James Rochefort
Admiral of the Fleet: William Archer (technically Rochefort is senior to the Admiral of the Fleet)
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Brandon Bildt

Are the more important figures of the CoC.

It was also decided a second Congress of Unions will be held in 5 years time to discuss how the system works and how to improve it.
Main points to discuss then:
Power balance between Workers' Councils and the CoC.
Minimum term for elected representatives (a cooldown before they can be recalled).
Decreased power of the Congress of Unions by requiring decisions to be ratified by referendum.

The third day of the first Iridar Congress of Unions will see a lot less faction politics and more just general discussion. The final subjects up for debate are the national flag and anthem for Iridar. Many suggestions have been put forth and votes were held in ranking order of preference. In the end the flag that saw the most support was:

The flag was chosen to represent the Syndicalist ideology of the workers revolution. The emblem represent the countries farmers, industrial workers and intelligentsia.
There where several other popular flag suggestions who did not win. For example the National Workers' and Soliders' front proposed a flag with striking nationalism but it was only popular with their relatively small faction.

The upbeat tempo is perfect to show the Iridar working spirit and the liberation of the working man internationally.

With this the First Iridar Congress of Unions is declared over and transcripts will be made public.
