Constitution
(a) Membership is to be given freely to any state who meets each and all of the following requirements:
(i) A government of democratic nature, with executive and legislative power invested in government by the mandate of the people's will.
(ii) A supermajority of all members (here defined as 66%) must approve the membership. During the joining proces, one year shall be set aside for any member state to voice objections to joining member. If an objection is not raised, it is assumed that
approval is given.
(b) Member states shall be bound by the following rules:
(i) An attack on one member state is considered to be an attack on all member states, and all member states are obligated to aid to their fullest capacity in the defense of a member state undertaking a defensive war.
(ii) Access to airstrip and docking facilities is to be given freely to each other member state, where possible, including civilian and military aircraft and shipping.
(iii) Trade between each member state must be free and unobstructed.
(c) Every five years, chairmanship of this organisation shall be bestowed upon a member state via the below procedures:
(i) Each member state wishing to put forward a representative must do so before the voting begins.
(ii) Each member state will rank each candidate in order of preference
(iii) A majority vote of greater than 50% is required for chairmanship.
(iv) If no majority exists from first preference votes, the candidate with the lowest quantity of first preference votes is eliminated and second preference votes for that candidate distributed.
(v) This process shall repeat until a candidate has greater than 50% of the votes.
(vi) An overall tie shall be decided by a new vote between tied candidates.

« Last post by Vallytine on 14 May, 2017, 01:46:16 am »As the sun rose over the Gleaming City of Honoria, the city was bustling with life, a stark contrast to the aftermath of the Naval Bombardment the city recieved a year prior. Other than some still destroyed buildings in Old Town, the city had almost completely recovered from the bombardment. A Memorial had been erected over the spot where the old Palace Spire had collapsed and destroyed an entire neighborhood, with the Spire ruins still embedded in the ground where it fell, with newly planted grass surrounding it, along with a black Memorial stone nearby.
Outside of Old Town was the Palace grounds, where the newly built Palace stood as the tallest building in the city by far, gleaming in the morning sunlight and glistening in a way that locals would describe as "Divine".
On live Celestinian Television, Theodoric II Valeria's coronation was just about to begin. Cars, Photographers and bystanders stood outside the Palace behind fences, overlooked by Large guards in heavy black and gold armor. A giant, red carpet reached outside the cathedral, reaching up to a road, in which a large, black Limousine had arrived. The Door was opened, and out stepped Emperor Theodoric II of the Valerian Dynasty. The Young 20 year-old man was wearing a long burgundy Ermine Cloak, an armored silver breastplate complete with gauntlets and pauldrons, as well as armored black and gold sabatons. Underneath his armor was a chainmail tabard that went down to his shins at the front. Carrying a golden staff with the Holy Cross, he slowly made his way up the stairs and carpet and into the Cathedral, met with fervent praise from the crowds. Inside, the Hymn of Honorius was being sung by a choir, and as Theodoric made it to the new Imperial Throne, a golden, heavily decorated sword was handed to him. Turning to face the crowd, he held the sword up high, as the light from the stained glass windows penetrated through to his sword. The Broadcasting station clarified that, "If a newly coronated Holy Celestial Emperor is able to make the rays of light touch the Sword, then he is considered to be anointed by Honorius himself."
After the light touch the sword, a cacophony of cheers was heard from those in attendance, to which Theodoric held up his head high and put the Sword in a Scabbard, before slowly sitting upon the Throne, holding the Holy Staff with one arm, sitting like a statue as the lavishly decorated gilded crown was placed on his head.
The Ceremony continued for a while, with Theodoric stating Holy Vows in the High Celestinian Language, with numerous blessings from several bishops, the ceremony continuing well into the afternoon.

Events - IC / Rivalry between Universities
« Last post by StelarCF on 13 May, 2017, 01:51:26 pm »The University of Sobanu and the University of Shirki have entered a rivalry as both students and professors from both universities compete to prove which university is best. The University of Sobanu claims that being the oldest shows its superiority, but the University of Shirki has not let itself down and its students have started tinkering to create ever more interesting contraptions. This has not been left unanswered by the University of Shirki, whose students have also began making such simple but interesting machines to prove their prowess. Electrical machines are a favourite of the two, as students bring novelty with various transformers and coils producing sparks to awe the crowd.
In order to settle it once and for all, the leadership of both universities have agreed to host an University Engineering Contest in several categories - Aeronautics, Electrics and Mechanics. The first edition is scheduled for early 1922.

« Last post by Twinky827 on 13 May, 2017, 12:56:27 am »Following the rapid and radical change in Estovasia from a absolutist monarchy into one of the only republics in the world, tensions have been high between the three major political parties in the Bellotcaunsat. Three highly different views for the future of the nation persist among the members, and not much has been able to get as a result of this main deadlock between the two largest parties; the RJL and EFP. The only thing they could agree upon doing was a funding program for new universities.
Mijj Tyronas, current Bellotprazident and leader of the second largest (by one seat) party in the Caunsat, has called for a snap election as a result of this inability to get things done. He believes that it will solidify his position of power, and destroy the EFP by letting the citizens vote them out of office. The EFP has a similar vision, except with them acquiring the Bellotprazidancy, and gaining a much larger majority in the Caunsat. All three parties have unanimously voted to hold a snap election extremely soon.
The election will ultimately determine the long term fate of the nation, and ultimately could lead to the rise of an entirely new form of political ideology, Rachordism. Currently, however, polling experts are believing that Mijj Tyronas' gamble could very well pay off, and lead to the RJL becoming the new face of Estovasian democracy for a long time to come.
