We would also like to recommend to the Erkuttan government that they increase their security along the border. Our patrols came across four terrorists at the border with Erkuttan weapons, Erkuttan cars and Erkuttan explosives. These four men have all been taken into custody, of course, and have claimed to represent your government. Of course, we find it quite impossible that our friendly neighbors might orchestrate such a vile and unwarranted attack, and so we must assume that these men are lying and simply obtained this equipment through criminal methods.

We are insulted that you would even suggest we would fail to take measures. There is already an ongoing investigation and action is going to be taken once the events have been precisely determined and passed through a court of law. We assure you the punishment will be severe.

Erkettun is confused as to the North Ryudinian definition of fascists; for one, the movement is extremely new to Erkettun. For another, while the acts that have occured cannot be described as anything but lowly, criminal, hateful acts of needless violence against innocents, it is our view that communism is in itself a violent ideology and a threat to the rights of every citizen and while we do not condone individual acts of our citizens we also do not believe it is possible to conflate "fascists" with those who merely wish to preserve their liberties as it is more restrictive a definition than North Ryudinia likes to make it out.

This is a clear example of how the fascist, when faced with an ideology that works for the good of all, an ideology which he cannot refute, must resort to violence as his only recourse.

Given tensions between communist North Ryudinia and capitalistic Erkettun, it was inevitable that ethnic tensions would also spring up. Unsurprisingly, these tensions exploded last night when 20 members of the Anticommunist League lynched 3 North Ryudinians and injured 6. Unfortunately, despite the gravity of this event, the details are sparse, however it has sparked a small wave of Ryudinian migration to North Ryudinia as some are afraid of being the target of more lynchings.
